Empirical Research in Times of Corona: Secondary Data, Resources, and Information for Research with Empirical Data

In view of the unpredictable period in which the own collection of research data cannot take place in the planned way or at the scheduled time, (partial) re-use of already collected research data in the sense of "Open Data" or the use of freely available, alternative data sources might be an option for several research projects.

In order to support such considerations and to help you plan better, the Advisory Centre for Empirical Research (“Beratungsstelle Empirische Forschung”, has collected information on the contactless collection and use of research data, on databases, and on relevant literature.

The collection is constantly under construction and is to be gradually supplemented and completed.

Therefore, if you can also name references, sources or materials that are not listed there, or if you have any comments regarding the pages, Vanessa Torres van Grinsven, head of the Advisory Centre, would be pleased to receive your message at: v.torresvangrinsvenSpamProtectionuni-koeln.de.

The information can be found on the pages of the Empirical Research Advisory Service at: https://www.hf.uni-koeln.de/39427?lang=2.
